Mi Drop/ShareMe for PC

If you have Mi Drop installed in your mobile you don't have to install any PC version to transfer files between your PC and Mobile. You can cut, copy and paste files and folder wirelessly between your PC and mobile. All you need is a wifi connection and both of your devices should be connected to the same network. Internet is not necessary for file transfer, just a wireless connection is needed. You can also create wireless network with your phones hotspot and use it for file sharing.
Open Mi Drop app in your mobile. Tap on the menu incon (three horizontal bar) on the top left of the screen and select "Connect to Computer".

Now click Start, then select your SD Card or Internal Memory. You will be provided with a FTP address. Type this address in yor windows explorer and hit enter. You will be given access to your phones memory. Now you can cut, copy or paste files and folders between your PC and Phone wirelessly. Transfer speed will vary depending your wifi routers capacity.


Mi Drop is a file sharing app developed by Xiaomi. This app comes pre installed in all Redmi mobiles. So you don't have to use any third party file sharing app to share files between two mobiles or between a PC and your mobile.

Remember Samsung EVO is a very popular micro SD card and so it has many duplicates. Always try to buy it from verified online seller so that you can Return it in case you are not satiesfied with its result. Also you can go for SanDisk Ultra and HP micro SD cards. These cards are also good and has many good reviews in Amazon.

Difference between Speed Class, UHS Speed Class

The current SDHC specification defines Class 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 as follows:

UHS Speed Class was introduced in 2009 by the SD Association and is designed for SDHC and SDXC memory cards. UHS utilizes a new data bus that will not work in non-UHS host devices. If you use a UHS memory card in a non-UHS host, it will default to the standard data bus and use the "Speed Class" rating instead of the "UHS Speed Class" rating. UHS memory cards have a full higher potential of recording real time broadcasts, capturing large-size HD videos and extremely high quality professional HD.

Video Speed Class or "V Class", was created by the SD Association to identify cards that can handle higher video resolutions and recording features. This speed class guarantees minimum sustained performance for recording video.

How to Enable file name extension in Windows Computer

SJCAM SJ8 Plus Firmware v.1.0.5 perfect EIS

The new version 1.0.8 does not work well with EIS, so if you want stabilization you can install this previous version.

Follow these steps to install the firmware v1.0.5:

1. Download the attached file and extract the contents from the zipped file

2. Copy the firmware in your SJcam's micro SD card (root directory- not within any folder)

3. Copy the firmware file FWxxxx.bin to your Micro SD card, and make sure you have at least 50% power on your camera's battery.

4. Turn the camera on, and the installation process will begin.

5. Once done, the camera will restart into the new firmware.

6. Format the card to make sure the installer file does not load each time you power it on.
