How to connect HDD in Laptop's DVD Drive Slot

My laptop's Motherboard HDD slot has some issues and it does not recognize any hard disk drive. So I used this Caddy/SATA Optical Bay to connect my hard disk drive to the DVD ROM's slot. Both the DVD and HDD slots are SATA but the power port is different, that is why we can't attach the HDD directly to the CD/DVD ROM's port. With this Caddy box you can use two HDDs in your laptop too.
