How to connect Laptop HDD in Desktop PC

You can connect your Laptop Hard Disk Drive with desktop motherboard directly with SATA cable. No extra cables or converter is needed to do so. Normally most of the PC's have two SATA power cable and SATA Data cables. In case you have a DVD drive connected with SATA ports, open the cables form it and connect it to the Laptop HDD. You can connect a SSD following the same procedure.
