Cooler Master Hyper 410R temperature test with Intel i5 12600K processor

In this video I am going to test Cooler Master 410r tower cooler efficiency with Intel i5 12600K processor. Here, I am not overclocking the processor, the processor will run at stock frequency. As this is a cheap budget cooler it is not meant for over clocking. Ambient temperature was 33.6 degree centigrade. At first I am going to test with Intel Extreme Tuning Utility because this will be the maximum stress for average users. Idle temp is about 42 degree centigrade. Performance core will run at 4.5 GHz and Efficient core will run at 3.8 GHz so total average processor frequency will be 4.2 GHz. This test will run for 5 minutes, I am going to speed up the video to show you the end result. Next I will test with Furmark CPU burner for 5 minutes. You can see the temperature reading in the middle on core temp application. Temperature reaches up to 95 degree centigrade but still CPU is not thermal throttling. So far up to this point the cooler is providing good cooling efficiency. And this will be the maximum level of uses for most of the users. Now the final test with Prime 95. This application will replicate maximum stress on each core of the CPU. I am going to run this test for 10 minutes. And here the cooler will fail to keep the temperature under control. After 7 minutes temperature reaches up to 100 degree centigrade and CPU starts to thermal throttle. So, you have seen the results. If you are an average user who just play games and stream and do 1080p video editing then this cooler will handle the load. For 4K editing and high quality 3d rendering you need dual tower cooler.
