How to take a backup of your IMEI number and restore it later after flashing

Take backup of your IMEI number before flashing or installing custom ROM on your android device. It is wise to take a backup of IMEI before installing custom ROM. Once you take a backup you can restore it easily.

There are several method for fixing your invalid IMEI problem. The method I am going to discuss here requires a rooted handset and mobile uncle tools. Mobile uncle tools is not currently available in play store, but there are several websites which offer free apk applications. So, just Google search "mobile uncle tools apk download" and then download and install it. If you don't know how to root your device see this post.

Fix invalid IMEI problem

Now launch your mobile uncle app and allow root access. Now find "IMEI Backup Restore (MTK)" option and enter there. Now tap on Backup IMEI to SDCARD2(MTK). Your phone memory is SDCARD so don't take the backup there. Because it will be erased during flashing process. Data on your external SDcard will not be harmed.
