If you install custom ROM or flash your android mobile then you are to face this problem. While flashing your ROM all of your previous data will be lost so as your IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number. So, it is wise to take a backup of your phone IMEI with mobile uncle tool or similar ROM assistant tools. See this post if you don't know how to take backup of your IMEI.

Now coming to the point. How can we find our lost IMEI. Normally you can find it on your mobile phone box and over your phones circuit after removing the battery. But for Tabs and Chinese clone phones you won't be able to remove the battery and get IMEI sticker over the circuit. In this case your only friend is Google. Yeh! that's for sure Google can get you back one of your IMEI number (sorry if you use two SIM handset). For this you must have access to the Google account with which you were signed in through your mobile. Google stores one of your IMEI number after you sign in with your Google account from mobile. Lets see how can we get it.

First log on to your Google account. Go to dashboard. If you can't find the dashboard option just type Google dashboard in your address bar, Google will take you there.
